DISCRIMINATION, PREJUDICE AND

INTEGRATION POLICIES

Prejudice is the preconceived, often negative, ideas we have about certain groups. They are closely related to discrimination, which refers to a process of exclusion and unfounded judgments about a group of individuals on the basis of a distinction made by a simple arbitrary characteristic. In this part of our research, we attempt to understand the role of policies that are put in place to shape personal attitudes and prejudices.
